The face of the young Egyptian woman who lived at least 2,000 years , it was rebuilt and cast in a 3D printer in detailed digital scans of her skull. Forensic techniques used in the survey discovered some amazing facts about the beautiful woman whose name was Meritamen.
The team of scientists from the University of Melbourne, in collaboration with the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, the new technology of scanning and facial reconstruction.
They were using a technique that allowed them to see through layers such as the remains of muscles and skin. Thanks to advances in technology it is now much easier without speculation, scientifically and accurately to reconstruct the appearance.
According to the researchers, Meritamen died around 18 to 25 years of age.
